Last Mile latest news - January 2023

Last Mile has been working hard over the last few months to secure additional permanent work to run alongside their current 2 x man home delivery, warehousing and HGV operation. Due to the success of the business Last Mile are extremely excited to be introducing additional contracts in the coming months.

This will open up further job opportunities throughout the departments so Last Mile will be on the lookout for more enthusiastic, hard-working people to join their teams.

In addition to this it will also expand opportunities for their existing staff to progress their careers within Last Mile. This will include their recently qualified HGV drivers who are ready and waiting to commence their careers as Heavy Goods Drivers.

Last Mile launched its 'Warehouse to Wheels' scheme in 2021 in a bid to encourage its existing staff to pursue a career as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver. We have had many successes, including our latest being Jonathan Swann.

Jonathan has recently qualified as a Class 1 Driver and is really looking forward to being a big part of our next new project and his new role too. Jonathan has worked extremely hard within the 2 x Man Home Delivery department for the last 4 years and certainly deserves to be advancing his career within the transport industry. Congratulations Swanny!
