Last Mile secures ongoing container work

Offering short, medium and long term warehouse space along with a seamless cross docking operation, Last Mile are extremely pleased to secure permanent cross docking work and ongoing storage for a local luxury brand customer via a daily inbound container.

After recently acquiring the premises next door to their existing warehouse and with now 70,000 square feet of space across the two sites, Last Mile have quickly started to welcome new customers into their new warehouse.

We have been receiving containers into our warehouse for 6 weeks now. The stock is handballed off by our warehouse team from the container onto a platform. The stock is then either palletised to be forwarded on by one of our HGV vehicles or is stored in our warehouse until its requested.

Depending on the type of product that is on the container, it can take up to 3 hours to unload the container. However, our strong and experienced warehouse team have no problem in meeting this strict deadline and always do so in an organised and relaxed manner.
