Raising the Bar for Training at Last Mile Logistic Solutions in Partnership with RTP

At Last Mile Logistic Solutions, we pride ourselves on tailoring services to deliver the perfect-fit solution for each business. As part of our commitment to colleague development, we are excited to announce a new collaboration with Regional Training Partners (RTP), aimed at strengthening internal training opportunities and improving access to industry-standard qualifications.

“I'm pleased to announce a new collaboration between Last Mile Logistic Solutions Limited and RTP, aimed at strengthening our internal development opportunities and enhancing industry-standard training access for both current and future colleagues. As part of this partnership, Last Mile Logistic Solutions will host FLT (Forklift Truck) training sessions on-site at our Preston Farm facility. This location offers the significant advantage of providing trainees with full exposure to a live, operational warehouse environment, ensuring training that is both practical and aligned with real-world conditions.

Through this collaboration, both Counterbalance and Flexi FLT qualifications can now be delivered directly from our site, removing barriers to training access and supporting improved skill development across the business. Our first training course, delivered in Week 49, has already proven the success of this initiative. We're proud to share that the session achieved a 100% pass rate, with all candidates successfully completing their assessments. This is a strong start, and further training dates will be communicated soon. A big thank you to Neil (RTP) for organising and supporting this launch.”

Regional Training Partners

RTP has been providing approved transport and logistics training since 2007 from their Billingham centre, offering expert, cost-effective courses across the region. By partnering with RTP, Last Mile can bring high-quality, practical FLT training directly to our Preston Farm facility, giving colleagues hands-on, real-world learning in a live warehouse environment without disrupting operations. The success of our first on-site course demonstrates the value of this approach. Together with RTP, we are proud to continue raising the bar for training and development at Last Mile Logistic Solutions.
