Team Last Mile Walks 100 Miles for the Russ Devereux Headlight Project

This month, members of our Last Mile team Jane Te Amo, Chris Hardy, and Stuart Henderson are stepping up for an incredible cause.

Together, they're taking on the challenge to walk 100 miles throughout the month in support of the Russ Devereux Headlight Project, a local charity close to many hearts in the Tees Valley. Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, the Headlight Project works tirelessly to reduce deaths by suicide through therapy, support for families bereaved by suicide, and preventative education and training in local schools and communities.

Whether it's a few miles each day or longer weekend treks, our team is showing that every step counts, not only for others but also for themselves. Walking 100 miles is no small feat, and it's inspiring to see our colleagues combine fitness, teamwork, and community spirit to raise awareness for such an important cause. Here are a few snaps from our walks so far, a reminder that even the smallest steps can lead to meaningful change. From quiet morning strolls to muddy weekend trails, each mile is another step towards supporting mental health and suicide prevention across the Tees Valley.
